Division Manager-Budget & Financial Planning
The Budget & Financial Planning Division Manager will lead the department's budget and financial Planning team. This position will supervise one Program Manager, one Senior Analyst, and one Senior Account Clerk, and will report to the Director of Community Energy. The position is responsible for managing all of the financial actions for the department. Duties include: tracking cash flow and financial planning, as well as analyzing the department's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective action, when needed. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial analysis and planning, fiscal management, and/or financial modeling.
Education and Experience
To qualify as the Budget & Financial Planning Division Manager, you will need a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, finance, economics, or a closely related field AND SIX (6) years of progressively responsible directly related experience, including three (3) years of supervisory experience.

The Analyst I/II will serve as the employee services liaison by managing recruitments, analyzing employment data, conducting internal audits, and providing general administrative support to the department. This position will also work closely with numerous City Administrative partners (e.g., Purchasing, the City Attorney’s Office, the City Manager’s Office, and Employee Relations) in order to develop and execute a variety of contracts and related documents.
Education and Experience
To qualify as an Analyst I, you will need a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. To qualify as an Analyst II, you will need a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university AND TWO (2) years of increasingly responsible professional staff analytic or administrative experience conducting studies, organizing and analyzing data, and preparing reports, recommendations, or conclusions for a functional area in budget, finance, grant administration, organizational analysis, general administration, or human resources.
